You receive a link to duplicate MatterOS into your Notion workspace, and a quick start guide inside it walks you from duplicating the template to opening your first matter. Most people are working on a real matter within an hour.

A 20-minute self-evaluation

1. Take the maturity check and note your level.
2. Pick your three most painful recurring problems, such as missed dates or lost documents.
3. Match each to a piece: Actions for dates, Evidence for documents, Research for repeated questions.
4. Look at that piece in the previews and ask whether the fields fit how you work.
5. Write down the one thing you need that is not there, such as billing, and decide whether another tool can cover it.

If the list ends with a need MatterOS does not meet, email before buying.
