MatterOS is practice-management software for legal professionals. It is a tool that lawyers and law firms use to run their own practice - to manage matters, organise documents, track deadlines, and streamline workflows. This page makes clear what MatterOS is, and what it is not.
1. Software, not a law firm
MatterOS is a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) product, operated by ADNAH INDIA CONSULTING LLP. It is not a law firm, a lawyer, or a legal service provider, and it does not practise law in any jurisdiction. The intended users of MatterOS are qualified legal professionals using it within their own practice.
2. No legal advice
3. No attorney–client relationship
Using MatterOS does not create an attorney–client (or solicitor–client) relationship between you and us. We are your software vendor, not your lawyer. Any attorney–client relationship exists solely between a firm using MatterOS and that firm's own clients.
4. AI-assisted features
Some MatterOS features are AI-assisted. These features support the professional's own workflow and do not constitute legal advice. AI output may be incomplete or inaccurate and must be independently reviewed and verified by the practitioner before it is relied upon, filed, or sent to anyone.
5. Your professional responsibilities
You remain solely responsible for meeting your own professional, ethical, and client-confidentiality obligations, and for reviewing, verifying, and deciding how to use any output of the Service. For the full terms governing your use, see our Terms of Service.
