What are cookies?
Cookies are small files a website or service stores in your browser. They are used to remember settings, keep you signed in, measure use and, sometimes, to show advertising.
Cookies we set
MatterOS does not use analytics, advertising or social-media tracking cookies, and does not create user accounts. The site itself does not need cookies to work.
Cookies set by third parties
- Gumroad, which processes purchases, may set cookies when you open its checkout. See Gumroad's own policies.
- YouTube: video players load only when you press play, in privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com), and YouTube may then set cookies. Thumbnails are loaded from YouTube's image servers.
- Google Fonts: fonts are requested from Google's servers; this transmits your IP address but is not used for tracking by us.
Controlling cookies
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking third-party cookies will not stop the site working, though a checkout or video player may behave differently.
