Refund Policy

Last updated June 5, 2026

This Refund Policy applies to subscriptions to MatterOS. It forms part of our Terms of Service. Payments are processed by our reseller and Merchant of Record, Paddle.com Market Limited (“Paddle”), and refunds (where applicable) are issued through Paddle. MatterOS is an AI-based Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) product delivered electronically and does not include any human-driven services.

1. Try before you pay

MatterOS is offered with a free trial so you can evaluate the Service before any charge. You will not be charged until the trial ends, and you can cancel at any time during the trial to avoid being charged. We encourage you to use the trial to confirm MatterOS is right for you.

2. Subscription fees are non-refundable

Except where a refund is required by applicable law, all subscription fees are non-refundable. This includes monthly and annual plans and any unused portion of a current billing period, and applies whether or not you actively used the Service during that period.

3. Cancellation

You can cancel at any time from your account settings or via the link on your Paddle receipt. When you cancel:

  • your subscription will not renew, and you will not be charged again;
  • you keep access until the end of the billing period you have already paid for;
  • we do not provide partial-period or pro-rata refunds for the time remaining.

4. Annual plans

Annual plans are paid up front for the year and are non-refundable after the free trial ends, except where required by law. You may cancel an annual plan at any time to stop it renewing for the following year; access continues until the end of the paid term.

5. Billing errors and duplicate charges

If you believe you were charged in error — for example, a duplicate charge or a charge after a timely cancellation — contact us within 30 days and we will investigate and, where a genuine error is confirmed, arrange a correction or refund through Paddle.

6. Your statutory rights

Nothing in this policy limits any non-waivable rights you may have as a consumer under applicable law. Where mandatory law grants you a right to a refund or to withdraw from a purchase, we honour it.

7. How to contact us

For any billing or refund question, email billing@thematteros.com, or contact Paddle directly using the details on your purchase receipt. Please include your account email and the order/receipt reference so we can help quickly.
