What is the basic difference?
MyCase is software you subscribe to. You log in to the vendor's application and use the features it provides. MatterOS is not an application. You buy the template once, duplicate it into Notion and build your system with Notion's databases, views and permissions.
That difference drives everything else: who hosts the data, who maintains features, what you can change, and what you must supply yourself.
