Solo practitioners
The solo lawyer is the system. MatterOS gives every matter a home, every deadline an owner (yourself) and a weekly review, so a missed date does not depend on your memory. The practical start is Matters and Actions, then Time.
Small firms (two to ten lawyers)
The challenge is consistency: every lawyer organises matters differently. A shared matter template, named responsible lawyers, handover notes and common views make the practice legible to everyone.
Young lawyers and in-house counsel
Young lawyers use the structure to build good habits and a research library from their first matters. In-house teams use Matters, Actions and Research to track requests without client billing, replacing Clients with business units.
Why no testimonials?
Testimonials and customer logos are claims about real people and organisations. Until we have permission to publish specific, verifiable ones, we would rather describe the product honestly than fill this page with unattributed praise. If you use MatterOS and are happy to be quoted, email us.

- Firms that need integrated billing, trust accounting or e-filing in one product.
- Organisations that need audit logs, single sign-on or a vendor with a security attestation; Notion's plans and your own policies govern those.
- Anyone who wants a hosted service with phone support.
