Privacy Policy

This is how MatterOS handles your data. It is short because we collect little.
1.What we collect
Account details: your email, password (hashed), and the name, firm, title, and jurisdiction you choose to add.
Your files and the pages built from them, plus a record of every credit spent and a handful of product events (for example that a page was built) so we can see whether the product works.
Billing details are collected and held by Paddle, our payment provider. We store only your plan, its renewal date, and Paddle's reference ids.
2.How we use it
To run the service: store your files, read them, build your page, and keep your account and plan in order. To answer support requests. Nothing else. We do not sell data, and we do not use your files to train AI models.
3.Who processes it
Supabase hosts the database, authentication, and file storage. Lovable's AI Gateway passes document text and images to Google's Gemini models to produce the transcription and the page; those requests are not used for model training under the gateway's terms. Paddle handles payments. Each provider processes data only to provide its service.
4.Where it lives and how long
Data is stored in the Supabase region of the project. Files and pages stay until you delete the matter or your account, at which point they are removed. Backups roll off within 30 days. Credit and event records are kept for accounting.
5.Security
Every file lives in a private bucket under your own account, and every database row is scoped to you by row-level security. Access to the servers is limited to the people running the service. If we learn of a breach affecting your data we will tell you without undue delay.
6.Your rights
You can view and edit your details in Settings, print or export any page, and delete individual matters or your whole account at any time. For a copy of your data, or to ask us to correct or erase something, email us and we will act within 30 days. Depending on where you live you may have further rights under laws such as the GDPR, the CCPA, or India's DPDP Act; we honour them.
7.Cookies
We use only the cookies and local storage needed to keep you signed in. There are no advertising or tracking cookies.
